MotoChic Not Just Woman's Handbag It's A Lifestyle Company

New York native and Bay Area transplant, Debra Chin, founded MotoChic Gear in 2013 to answer the need for high quality, design-conscious clothing and accessories for women. Formerly the owner of a bridesmaid boutique, Debra leveraged her 15+ years of experience in VP-level marketing and consulting positions for start-ups and Fortune 500 companies to create MotoChic: Stylish Gear for Women on the Move.
Debra came up with the idea for MotoChic Gear after discovering the joys of motorcycling, and being disappointed with the “pink and shrink” approach taken by mainstream manufacturers of motorcycle apparel and accessories for women. MotoChic Gear won the Start-Ups Shark Tank Showcase in San Francisco, and was fully funded for its first production run on Kickstarter in December 2014. Considering only 38% of all Kickstarter campaigns are successfully funded, this achievement further validated Debra’s belief that there is a need for stylish women’s riding gear.
